International Missions

At Heritage, we believe God is calling a people to himself from every tribe, tongue, people and nation. (Rev. 5:9)  Our responsibility, as described in Matthew 28:18, is to deliver the Gospel to those people that we might joyfully exalt God together for eternity.

As John Piper says, "Missions exists because worship doesn't." Wherever there are people who do not worship God -- whether they live next door or on the other side of the world -- there's a need for the life-changing Gospel of Christ that is the power of God unto salvation.

M.A.S.H.

The Mission Action Society of Heritage exists to collect and funnel contributions to fund Gospel endeavors around the world. Church members collect loose change and bring it to church the first Sunday of each month. M.A.S.H. also organizes funds sent from other congregations in the U.S. for proper distribution.

Latin America

God has granted us an extensive and continuing ministry in several Latin American countries. Under the leadership of Pastor Keith Maddy, we offer books and seminary-level training for pastors, speak at conferences, send computer and medical supplies, support church construction for needy congregations, etc. The countries we visit most frequently include Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Colombia. Two of our church members have been missionaries in Irapuato, Mexico, for more than 30 years.

Romania

Dwayne and Kimberly Baldwin (along with their five boys) have for some time been interested inseeing if and how the Lord would use them on the mission field of Romania. Their love for Romaniastarted with the adoption of two of their sons from there. In the last four years, God has seenfit to give them relationships with various missionaries including some from HeartCry MissionSociety, leading them to take a 2 week trip throughout Central Romania in March 2010 and thena 4 week stay in September 2011. Since then, they have fervently sought the Lord on the issue, and worked on developing relationships with the Romanian people.  If you are interested in more in more information on this ministry, click HERE.

We regularly support a number of missionaries in several countries around the world, including Mexico, Ireland, India, Mozambique, Kenya, the Philippines, and the Far East.

Church members (including young people and adults) frequently travel on short-term mission trips to various countries of the world.
