Conrad Mbewe

Conrad MbeweConrad was born, raised and educated in Zambia. He became a Christian in 1979. During his university days, while studying mining, he realized God was calling him into the Christian ministry and began to spend all his spare time and money acquiring the necessary tools for the pastorate. In 1987 he received a call to pastor the Kabwata Baptist Church where he has labored for the last twenty years, seeing the church grow from thirty–five members to well over three hundred. KBC is presently overseeing the establishment of ten new Reformed churches in Zambia and Botswana. Far East Missionary

Far East MissionaryThis man was radically converted during his college years while playing football for a division one team. Because of his outstanding athletic ability, he was drafted by the NFL. The Lord, however, had bigger plans for him. While playing for a professional football team, God called him to the Christian ministry. As a graduate student at a well known seminary, the Lord graciously opened his eyes to the Doctrines of Grace and placed him in the pastorate. After faithfully shepherding the sheep of an evangelical church in the South for fourteen years, he and his dear wife happily surrendered their lives to the cause of the Gospel in a spiritually darkened region of the Far East. Throughout a decade of faithful and courageous service, the two of them have accumulated vast experience in transcultural missions. His passion for God's glory and his love for the souls of men combine to make his preaching deeply convicting and yet graciously compelling. He and his wife have three grown children, one of whom also serves the Lord as a missionary.

Luis Sena

Luis SenaLuis is the national director of Food for the Hungry in the Dominican Republic, where he designs relief projects to benefit the poorest communities throughout the island. As a careful exegete and theologian, Luis has labored to develop a theology of compassion relevant to local churches in their own communities. He has also served the church by helping Christian leaders throughout the Caribbean, as well as Central and South America, embrace a more biblical worldview of ministry. He teaches these leaders the significance of a Christ-like compassion which meets the needs of the whole person—body and soul. As a result of his vision and labors, there exists in Managua, Nicaragua, the Nehemiah Center, which is dedicated to training local churches how to carry out such holistic ministries. Luis and his wife Carmen live in Santo Domingo and have been married for twenty-five years. They have three grown children who are presently pursuing education in the United States.
