Men's Breakfast - Saturday, May 1 - 8:00-9:30am

Brothers, please join us for our monthly men's breakfast in the gym this Saturday. We will eat, discuss a chapter from Proverbs, and pray. Bring your sons, grandsons, and other young men as well. 

New Members Class - Sunday, May 2 - 9:30-10:15

Our HBC New Members Class, "Devoted," will meet for six weeks from April 18-May 23. The class will meet upstairs from 9:30-10:15 during the Sunday School hour with Pastor Mark leading. 

ROMANS Women's Sunday School Class (Part 1) - Sunday, May 2 - 9:30-10:15

The Women's Sunday School class will take place from April 18-May 30 and will cover chapters 1-4 of Romans. The class meets in the chapel with our sister, Amy Chifici, teaching.

Sunday Morning Worship  - Sunday, May 2 - 10:30-12:00 

This Week's Sermon: "Get Out While You Can!" (Revelation 17:1-18). Pastor Mark will be preaching. For those unable to or uncomfortable with re-gathering at this time, you can join us online at 10:30 at our church's Youtube page, Facebook page or Website. We will continue to have a "mask-only" area in the back corner of the gynasium. Please allow the parking immediately outside the kitchen door exit of the gym for those wishing to sit in this area. 

Owensboro Connect Camp - Sunday, May 2

Pastor Thad and Chris Houston will be sharing briefly about a camp opportunity for youth and families in Owensboro this summer during our AM worship. 

Lord's Supper Service - Sunday, May 2 - 5:00-6:30pm

We will have our monthly Lord's Supper gathering this Sunday. Pastor Thad will be leading and Pastor Mark will be preaching a sermon from 1 Thessalonians 5:14 on "Encouraging the Fainthearted."  

Deacon Vote for Justin Hout - Sunday, May 2

After taking the Lord's Supper, we will be hold a congregational vote for Justin Hout to serve our church as a deacon. 

Upcoming Events:

National Day of Prayer - May 6

The Owensboro National Day of Prayer will take place at the courthouse (and online) the first Thursday in May from 11:30am-1:00pm. For more information, check out their Facebook page. More details will be sent out this week. 

Fellowship Meal and Recommissioning for A.W. and J.P. - May 30

On May 30, we will be recommissioning A.W. and J.P. to their work in North Africa. This will be their last Sunday at HBC. We will also be having a fellowship lunch immediatley after the service. Everyone is invited to stay after and join us.
