We will be taking communion together as a church family during our Sunday morning worship this week. This quarterly AM practice will replace our normal 1st Sunday PM Lord's Supper Service on September 5th. In addition to this, following morning worship, everyone is invited to stay for our quarterly church fellowship meal in the gym. See Belinda Faulkner for details and bring desserts. The meal and drinks are provided.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Gentle and Lowly Book - Beginning September 1st!

Be sure to pick up your free copy of "Gentle and Lowly" by Dane Ortlund in the church lobby. The books will be available again this Sunday. We will begin reading them in our weekly prayer meeting on Wednesday, September 1. We will read a little bit of the book each week on the front end of prayer meeting, so bring your book each week and follow along with us.

New Sunday School Class - Beginning September 5th!

We are relaunching HIBS 2.0 (Heritage Institute for Biblical Studies) - our in-depth theology courses for adults - on September 5. These quarterly classes will take place in the HCS Chapel from 9:30-10:15. Four classes will be taught this inaugural year, under the instruction of a variety of teachers. We hope this will be a great supplement for those who want to go deeper in their knowledge of Scripture, doctrine and theology. The class will be accessible and presented at an educated lay-level.
