This Week @ HBC (May 4-10)


Here's a list of upcoming events for May 4-10.

As a way to stay in touch "virtually" this week, we are settling up various events on Facebook. Here's a tenative schedule:

Monday, May 4 - Heritage Kids with Mrs. Chris. Chris will review the week's memory verse and share with the kids. Points are being awarded for prizes for those who memorize their verses. 

Tuesday, May 5 - REACH Ladies Devotional. One of our sisters will lead a brief time of devotion and prayer. 

Mid-Week Zoom Prayer Meeting - Wednesday, May 6

We will have another mid-week Zoom prayer meeting on May 6 at 6:30pm. A simple guide for how to use Zoom can be found here

Owensboro National Day of Prayer - Thursday, May 7 - 11:30-12:45

On May 7 we are joining churches from all over the country in a focused time of prayer for our nation.  This year, the Owensboro National Day of Prayer will be held as a virtual event on Facebook starting with an online Bible reading at 11:30am leading up to the prayer service at noon.

Mother's Day - May 10

Since we won't be honoring our moms as part of a physical gathering this year, click here for a helpful guide that includes a list of ways we can do so as a church while we remain in quarantine. 

Gospel Project - Adult Sunday School Class

We will post Pastor Keith's Gospel Project Sunday School class to our Facebook and YouTube page later this week. This week's lesson: "Jesus Reveals His Power" (Mark 1-2).  

Sunday Morning Worship (LIVESTREAM) - Sunday, May 10 - 10:30-12:00 

Join us online at 10:30 at our church's Youtube pageFacebook page or Website. We will sing, pray, read Scripture and continue our sermon series through Lamentations. This week: "Calling: The Idol-Revealing Nature of Hardship."
