Here's a list of upcoming events for November 23-29.

NOTE: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, there will be no mid-week gathering on Wednesday evening. 

Women's Sunday School Class - Sunday, November 29 - 9:30-10:15

Our Fall Women's Sunday School class concludes this Sunday in the HCS Chapel. We will be looking at one final biography of a faithful woman. This Week: Corrie Ten Boom.

Gospel Project Discipleship Classes - Sunday, November 29 - 9:30-10:15

Volume 9: Jesus the Savior -- Unit 27: Out of the Grave

  • Adults & Students: "Jesus Commissions His Disciples" (Matthew 28; Acts 1)
    • Adults in Learning Center with Pastor Keith Maddy
    • Students (Grade 7-12) in Youth Room with Pastor Thad
  • Preschool & Kids: "Jesus Returned to Heaven" (Matthew 28; Acts 1)
    • 2's and 3's - Nursery
    • 4's and 5's - HCS Preschool Classroom 
    • 1st-3rd Grade - Conference Room
    • 4th-6th Grade - Art Room

Sunday Morning Worship  - Sunday, November 29 - 10:30-12:00 

This Sunday, we will begin our Advent sermon series for 2020: "Unexpected: The Confounding Comfort of Christmas." Pastor Mark will be preaching. This Week's Sermon: "The Unexpected Family of Jesus" (Matthew 1:1-17). For those unable to or uncomfortable with re-gathering at this time, you can join us online at 10:30 at our church's Youtube pageFacebook page or Website. We will continue to have a "mask-only" area in the back corner of the gynasium. Please allow the parking immediately outside the kitchen door exit of the gym for those wishing to sit in this area. 

 5th Sunday Lord's Supper - Sunday, November 29

We will take communion during Sunday morning worship. We will not have a Lord's Supper service next Sunday evening on December 6.

We are in the beginning stages of updating our church directory for 2021. These directories will contain photos of HBC members and contact information for our membership. Please check your email and send Pastor Mark any photo or information updates.
