Advent Dinner for Couples - Saturday, December 1 - 5:30-7:30
If you are like me, it can be a struggle to lead your family in regular devotions. But Christmas is a great time to think about making an intentional effort to start having devotions with your family. The Men’s Ministry is sponsoring an event on December 1st for married couples to enjoy dinner together, and hear practical tips on how to organize family devotions through the Advent season that are neither intimidating or impractical.
Please make plans to join us for this event and let us know that you will be attending by signing up on the signup sheet in the church lobby.
When: December 1st 5:30-7:30
Where: HBC Gym
Childcare: Available for children 5th and Under (dinner not provided for kids)
Cost: $5 per couple, $1 per child in childcare

We begin our winter (December-February) study "Out of Egypt" this week.

"Drilling Down" Class - Sunday, December 2 - 9:15-10:15
This class takes place in the fellowship hall. This week, we will look at Creation.

We continue our sermon series through 1 John. This week, we will look at 1 John 5:6-12.
Sunday Evening Lord's Supper Service - Sunday, December 2 - 5:00-6:30
We will have our monthly Lord's Supper service this Sunday evening.

REACH Christmas Ornament Party - Tuesday, December 4 - 6:00pm
Our Annual Christmas Ornament Party is Tuesday December 4th at 6:00pm at Janna Hout's home. ALSO, at the party we would like to present our Pastors' wives with gift baskets to bless them and show our appreciation.
"Behold the Lamb of God" Livestream - Monday, December 10 - 6:00pm
If you enjoyed the livestream event last year we did last year, we have good news! We will be showing it live from the learning center on Monday, December 10 at 6 pm CST. In order to facillitate we are asking you to reserve your spot by signing up, either by emailing Jim Gauley at jimandrae@roadrunner.com or signing up in the lobby on Sunday at HBC. Seating is limited to 30, so it will be based on the first to sign up. If we have more than 30 sign up, we may be able to open a home for livestreaming too. Please indicate how many will be coming as well. If you have any questions you may email Jim at his email or text him at 270-315-7255.
Connect Lunch
We will continue hosting our bi-weekly connect lunch for guests on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month. Our community groups will host these lunches.
