Here's a list of upcoming events for October 5-11.

HBC Mid-Week - Wednesday, October 7 - 6:00-7:00pm

We will be moving our weekly prayer meeting back to the Learning Center this week. Due to Fall Break, there will be no Heritage Kids, student studies, or nursery this week. Those will resume, along with our mid-week meals, next Wednesday, October 14. 

Women's Sunday School Class - Sunday, October 11 - 9:30-10:15

Our Fall Women's Sunday School class continues this Sunday in the HCS Chapel. We will be looking at another biography of a faithful woman. This Week: Hannah More. 

Gospel Project Discipleship Classes - Sunday, October 11 - 9:30-10:15

Volume 9: Jesus the Savior -- Unit 26: To the Cross

  • Adults & Students: "Jesus Is Questioned" (Mark 12)
    • Adults in Learning Center with Pastor Keith Maddy
    • Students (Grade 7-12) in Youth Room with Pastor Thad

Sunday Morning Worship  - Sunday, October 11 - 10:30-12:00 

This Sunday, we continue our 2020 Mission Month. Pastor Keith Maddy will continue our "Salvation Stories" series with a sermon from Matthew 22:1-14 called "Come to the Banquet." For those unable to or uncomfortable with re-gathering at this time, you can join us online at 10:30 at our church's Youtube pageFacebook page or Website. We will continue to have a "mask-only" area in the back corner of the gynasium. Please allow the parking immediately outside the kitchen door exit of the gym for those wishing to sit in this area. 

 

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Men's Breakfast - Saturday, October 17 - 8:00-9:30am

Brothers, our monthly Men's Breakfast will take place on October 17 in the Fellowship Hall. Join us for food, fellowship and discussion from Proverbs. 

HBC 2020 Christianity and Culture Conference - October 23-25

Our 1st Christianity and Culture Conference will be held October 23-25 at the conclusion of Missions Month. While the conference is free for HBC members, we are asking you to register BY WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14. Please register each person who will be attending (including children). You can sign up HERE.

Heritage Kids Special Event - October 25

After our morning worship on October 25, two of your pastors will be subjected to "The Wheel of Unfortunate Providences." All money raised to spin the wheel and given in the jars of pastoral humiliation will be used to advance God's glory among the nations. 

New Sermon Series on the Book of Revelation - Coming November 1st!

Lord-willing, we will begin our sermon series through the Book of Revelaiton on November 1st. Aside from a brief Christmas series in December, this will be our main focus for preaching through the end of 2020 and the first half of 2021.
