Our monthly ladies prayer meeting will take place at noon today (9/9) in the church nursery.

"Drilling Down" Class - Sunday, September 15 - 9:15-10:15

This class takes place in the Fellowship Hall. This week, we will conclude at the New Heavens and New Earth.

Sunday Morning Worship - Sunday, September 15 - 10:30-12:00

This Sunday, we will continue our sermon series in the book of Exodus. We will look at Exodus 19. 

Baptism Sunday - Sunday, September 15

This coming Sunday, we will be baptizing two young men: Henry Lytle and Bobby Boswell. Bobby has completed the membership class and will be voted on by the membership prior to baptism (his testimony having been distributed two weeks in advance). Henry will be received as a minor member and will be voted on by the membership after completing the adult membership class in the fall. 

Sunday Evening Worship - Sunday, September 15 - 5:00-6:00pm

We will have our monthly 3rd Sunday evening worship gathering this coming Sunday in the chapel. Pastor Jeremy Hatfield, from Pleasant Valley, will be preaching. 

Upcoming Events:

HBC Missions Month - September 22-October 13

Over the course of four weeks, we will consider passion, practice, priority and partnerships in missions in our Sunday sermons. Additionally, we will be featuring testimonies from our HBC missionaries, watching special missions videos, spending focused time in corporate prayer, hearing special Scripture readings, and singing songs about the glory of God among the nations. In addtion to this, we will take communion together in the Sunday morning worship servince on September 29 and have a church-wide fellowship meal after the service to honor the Apps, who have been HBC Missionaries for over four decades and have recently wrapped up over a half-century of service to Christ in Mexico. Finally, we will be coordinating some Fall Break missions projects to coincide with our missions emphasis. 

Men's Retreat - September 27-28

Our annual men's retreat will take place at Rough River. It is free and you can sign up in the lobby. For more information, contact Patrick Rowe. 

New Members Class - October 20-November 24

We will be holding our fall new members class on October 20-November 24. The class will meet for six consecutive Sundays from 9:30-10:15 in the HBC Learning Center library.
