Here's a list of upcoming events for October 26-November 1.

HBC Mid-Week - Wednesday, October 28 - 6:00-7:00pm

Join us for our Mid-Week gathering at 6:00pm. Adults and older youth (high school and college-age) will meet for prayer in the Learning Center. Heritage Kids (ages 4-5th grade) will meet in the gym. Student Studies (Middle School) will meet upstairs in the art and youth rooms. Nursery available. 

Women's Sunday School Class - Sunday, November 1 - 9:30-10:15

Our Fall Women's Sunday School class continues this Sunday in the HCS Chapel. We will be looking at another biography of a faithful woman. This Week: Lillas Trotter.

Gospel Project Discipleship Classes - Sunday, November 1 - 9:30-10:15

Volume 9: Jesus the Savior -- Unit 26: To the Cross

  • Adults & Students: "Jesus Is Crucified" (Mark 15)
    • Adults in Learning Center with Pastor Keith Maddy
    • Students (Grade 7-12) in Youth Room with Pastor Thad
  • Preschool & Kids: "Jesus' Crucifixion" (Matthew 26-27; John 18-19)
    • 2's and 3's - Nursery
    • 4's and 5's - HCS Preschool Classroom 
    • 1st-3rd Grade - Conference Room
    • 4th-6th Grade - Art Room

Sunday Morning Worship  - Sunday, November 1 - 10:30-12:00 

This Sunday, we begin our journey through the book of Revelation. Pastor Mark will be preaching. This Week's Sermon: "An Introduction to the Revelation of Jesus Christ" (Revelation 1:1-8). For those unable to or uncomfortable with re-gathering at this time, you can join us online at 10:30 at our church's Youtube pageFacebook page or Website. We will continue to have a "mask-only" area in the back corner of the gynasium. Please allow the parking immediately outside the kitchen door exit of the gym for those wishing to sit in this area. 

International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church - Sunday, November 1

This Sunday, during our morning worship, in addition to getting a brief update on the state of the persecuted church, Pastor Keith Maddy will lead us in prayer for the persecuted church and show us how we can stay engaged with our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world (Hebrews 13:3). 

2021 Church Budget - Sunday, November 1

Our 2021 Church Budget will be distributed this Sunday. You can pick up a copy in the lobby. An electronic copy will also be emailed to our membership. Please look it over the next few weeks and contact our finance team with any questions you may have. We will have our annual business meeting on Sunday, November 15 at 5pm to vote on the proposed budget for 2021. 

Sunday Evening Worship (Lord's Supper) - Sunday, November 1 - 5:00-6:30pm

This Sunday evening, we will gather for our monthly communion service in the gym/worship center. Tim Hoak will bring the devotional and Pastor Keith Withrow will be leading. 

Upcoming Event:

HBC 2020 Men's Retreat - November 13-14

Our annual Men's Retreat will take place at Pastor Keith Withrow's place at Rough River on November 13-14. Brothers, join us for the fellowship, food, prayer, recreation, rest, and encouragement from God's Word. To sign up, contact Patrick Rowe or put your name on the sign-up sheet in the lobby.
