5:15-6:00 - Mid-Week Meal in Fellowship Hall

6:00-7:00 - Prayer Meeting (Chapel), Heritage Kids (Gym), and Student Studies (Youth and Art Room). Nursery available. 

National Day of Prayer - Thursday, May 6 - 11:30am-1:00pm

The Owensboro National Day of Prayer will take place at the courthouse (and online) the first Thursday in May from 11:30am-1:00pm. For more information, check out their Facebook page. 

New Members Class - Sunday, May 9 - 9:30-10:15

Our HBC New Members Class, "Devoted," will meet for six weeks from April 18-May 23. The class will meet upstairs from 9:30-10:15 during the Sunday School hour with Pastor Mark leading. 

ROMANS Women's Sunday School Class (Part 1) - Sunday, May 9 - 9:30-10:15

The Women's Sunday School class will take place from April 18-May 30 and will cover chapters 1-4 of Romans. The class meets in the chapel with our sister, Amy Chifici, teaching.

Sunday Morning Worship  - Sunday, May 9 - 10:30-12:00 

This Week's Sermon: "Here Lies Babylon" (Revelation 18:1-24). Pastor Mark will be preaching. For those unable to or uncomfortable with re-gathering at this time, you can join us online at 10:30 at our church's Youtube page, Facebook page or Website. We will continue to have a "mask-only" area in the back corner of the gynasium. Please allow the parking immediately outside the kitchen door exit of the gym for those wishing to sit in this area. 

Heritage Kids Singing - Sunday, May 9

Heritage Kids will be singing this Sunday for Mother's Day during our morning worship service.

Baby Shower for Laine McGarrah - Saturday, May 15 - 10:00am-12:00pm

A baby shower for Laine (and Shiloh) will be held on Saturday, May 15 in the gym. Contributions to the group gift can be made to either Amanda Shultz or Chris Houston by May 9th. 

Deacon Ordination for Justin Hout - Sunday, May 19

We will be ordaining Justin Hout to the diaconate during morning worship. 

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser - Saturday, May 22 - 8:30-10:00

We will have a fundraiser pancake breakfast on May 22nd from 8:30 to 10:00 in the gym. There is no charge but donations will be accepted for the Mintons.

Fellowship Meal and Recommissioning for A.W. and J.P. - May 30

On May 30, we will be recommissioning A.W. and J.P. to their work in North Africa. This will be their last Sunday at HBC. We will also be having a fellowship lunch immediatley after the service. Everyone is invited to stay after and join us.
